I’ve actually experienced this myself. I was applying for a foreign language-speaker position and of course, I had to be interviewed in that particular language. These are what I did to prepare for the interview:
I kept in mind the job description of the position I was applying for. I listed down the traits and skills they need for that position. Taking these into consideration, I formulated possible questions and any other follow-up questions that the interviewer may ask. I then wrote my answers to these questions and studied them. I did not exactly memorize so that I won’t become disoriented when the interviewer throws a question I haven’t thought of. During the interview, I not only focused on my language proficiency but also on my other skills and traits that will be beneficial to the company.
Did I get the job, you ask? I did.
